Similarly, during the unprecedented challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, Holding Hands demonstrated remarkable agility and dedication. We distributed food grains to alleviate hunger during lockdowns, and provided timely and accurate guidance regarding Corona on social media, becoming a trusted source of information. One of our most impactful and enduring initiatives born out of this crisis was the establishment of a free telephone consultation service for people scared in the lockdown, which remarkably continues till date. This service provided a lifeline for countless individuals grappling with anxiety, fear, and uncertainty, offering emotional support, practical advice, and a reassuring voice during a period of immense global distress. The fact that many people from within the state and outside have benefited from it underscores its profound necessity and effectiveness.
